Very few of these guitars have surfaced over the decades Unlike other Fernandes signature models, The ST-65JL was manufactured in very very small numbers for a very very short time between in the mid 1980s. I’ve owned 4 of these and love them.

This guitar is in near mint condition with only scratches. The Jake E Lee is a truly awesome and fancy guitar with the Mother Of Pearl Dot fret markers. The particular guitar is in truly pristine condition and has the  original Fernandes Jake E Lee hardtail bridge with F-spaced saddles.

This color of Jake E Lee Fernandes is the most sought after color of Collectible JEL guitars.

Minor cosmetic blemishes to this example can be seen in the photos. This entire guitar is in pristine condition with absolutely no cracks in the wood anywhere. This guitar has been inspected, tested and played having no issues. The truss rod operates 100%. iits got a fresh setup and Its ready to play upon arrival.

Unlike the badly produced recent Charvel JEL Reissue guitars this vintage Fernandes Jake is accurate. It has the correct Fender 3-bolt neck plate and the correct specifications that would represent a ‘74 Strat like Jakes real Whitey.

When Fender put out the new reissues, to cut cost and be lazy FENDER/CHARVEL put an incorrect bridge, incorrect neck heel size and some random bridge string spacing and an incorrect neck plate on the reissues as well as some other slip-shod incorrect specifications into their inaccurate JEL reissues … not that they are rotten guitars but the Fender reissues are NOT accurate…shame on you Charvel/Fender make us an accurate 1974 Strat Jake E Lee Whitey! we know you can do it… LOL.. you are Charvel owned by Fender. correct ???.
