Authentic 1986 ESP Custom - Kamikaze
Excellent Condition
Before you read further please notice there is a decades old repair at the low E tuner * see pics  *. If this is of any concern to you this statement is the the formal announcement of the repair. The guitar had major blemishes, discolored stains in the paint, ugly dents and unnatural relic from abuse and live performance scars. It was laying around in parts when we purchased it. After the relic job i played it at a gig getting many compliments. Now it has new life!

We have completely inspected all areas of this guitar and refurbished this guitar. The guitar is in now in excellent condition. We can verify that there are no adverse issue that slows this guitar from performing magnificently. Ever bit of this guitar has been gone over and before re-assembly we have professionally aged this guitar. 

This is a vintage 1986 ESP Custom guitar. As some may know the banana headstock from ESP is a very prized collectors item. In addition this is a one-piece ESP maple fretboard neck! I recorded the neck specifications and documented every contour as I always do. The neck shape is George’s preference from 1986..! It is unique. The neck shape is more pronounced than the official Kamikazes as was Lynch’s real neck shape preference during Tooth And Nail era. i have all the math saved on my computer so i can re-create the wide-and-flat profile exactly when we manufacture a Lynch inspired AXNGuitar!

This guitar is in excellent condition with near-to-no fretwear. The body is a made of a one-piece quarter-sawn wood which has a nice dark color appearing to be walnut wood. This was revealed by the professional relic-ing we performed to the guitar. That said, the exotic wood is most likely Sen wood. Being made from exotic tone-wood is not a surprise to us because this is one of the most resonant and awesome sounding ESP we have every played. Its new owner will be extremely delighted and in awe of this guitar as we are.

The guitar has matching ESP control numbers written on the inside of the neck pocket and on the back of the necks heel * see photos * . The guitar has an 1986 Floyd Rose Original Tremolo. We have added one of our Boutique Copper AXN™ sustain blocks that is perfect for this guitars magnificent tone!. The pickups are unknown yet sound great.

Although unconfirmed, this guitar may have originally been sold at the famous ESP 48th Street Shop in New York. It was made in Japan and manufactured to be sold in New York USA.

Again, the guitar is in excellent condition with No cracks in the wood. There is little-to-no visible fretware to the original ESP frets. The fret size matching all the Kamikaze guitars we've seen. The guitar is ready to play upon arrival to you.
