I was there in the 1980s and my addiction to GAS was in full gear back then so after all these decades of everyone else going nuts for traditional guitars ... now all of a sudden everyone wants to know about shredder guitars. What the hey.. I'm out of style with hair metal one minute and I'm the cool guy the next ....

This body has one of the oldest ESP logos you will every see. Guitars with this logo never pop up because not that many were manufactured at that spot in Japan in 1983. In addition, when ESP opened the 48th Street shop in New York you might have seen a few logo-ed like this. but you would have had to be really alert to notice!
