1982 Fernandes Burny Bumble Bee Guitar

$0.00

1982 Fernandes Van Halen Bumble Bee
Made in Japan Production Model Guitar

As of today we are mainly in the business of selling AXN™ Boutique Guitars. Many of the things I personally collected over the last 30 years I learned from long ago and have moved on. I'm using strictly AXN™ Boutique Guitars live for shows now. The guitars I've been holding on to will be going up for sale here on Ebay little by little... keep a looked for some awesome stuff.

If years of search effort was applied it will still be unlikely-to-impossible to find another one of these 1982 versions of this guitar. Maybe-just-maybe you'd find a late 1983 but not this one. Other than our AXN™ Guitars this is one-of-the-best if not the best stratocaster with a Floyd Rose I have ever encountered. The thing sings like no other and the soft V-shaped neck is the sweetest one-piece maple. The action is as smooth as silk. The Fernandes humbucker has to be better than any PAF pickup EVH could have ever used. Live at high volumes its the ultimate in sweet hard rock tone!

Its in the group of the first few that Fernandes did

Its in the group of the first few that Fernandes did. In our opinion it more closely emulates Charvel Manufacturing in the period when they made stuff for DiMarzio.

Not getting a Fernandes headstock logo when it was manufactured, the first I'd say 25 of these black and yellow striped guitars saw the light of day in mid 1982.

the first I'd say 25 of these black and yellow striped guitars saw the light of day in mid 1982. For those of you that know what Fernandes Burny was doing in 1982 can appreciate my words. The Fernandes engineers spared no expense in the early 1980s, had a keen sense for extreme detail and had many great minds working to R&D these infamous guitars. I've been keeping this for me for a while now. Its got an AXN™ tremolo system on it with a fat AXN™ brass sustain block which is the only modification.

There are a few dings dents and cosmetic imperfections with a noticeable scar at the back of the headstock pictured. But thats it, the thing is nearly unused with zero fretwear. Its perfect and absolutely 100% gig ready. I paid the big bucks to get this prototype some time ago. If you buy this guitar you'll be thanking me forever!

best regards

Johnny
