We are an authority on ESP Guitars and avid collectors having sold very many ESP vintage guitars . This listing is for an ESP ZEP2 Custom guitar that has been kept in unplayed collectors condition and preserved for over three decades.

The guitar is from top to bottom is a true boutique quality guitar. The  exotic woods are quite obvious including the highly visible Thick Maple Top and Northern Ash body that is under the red paint ( seen in the photo of the neck dis-assembled from the body). Expert craftsmanship by the ESP Craft House in Shibuya Tokyo is evident all over this guitar. The neck on this guitar is one-piece quarter-sawn and the most marvelous feeling maple neck with large frets. It just plain awesome and there in NO fretware. The guitar was obviously owned by a Loudness fan and not a player.

The paint on the body is excellent, there are signs of age and some cracks that appear ONLY in the paint most noticeable where the pickup mounting screws attach to the body. The paint which is Nitro has hardened a bit creating a few near un-noticeable finish cracks from age. That said, there are absolutely NO cracks in the wood on this guitar. The Floyd Rose tremolo shows quite alot of age and wear yet opereates perfectly. This guitar is in very excellent-and-near-mint condition . Its ready to play upon arrival to you.
