Late 1983 Authentic ESP Stratocaster Headstock Single Humbucker Guitar

This guitar originally came with a 1983 Prototype Floyd Rose Type tremolo and still has the original first generation Floyd Rose 1983 Tremolo Posts ( philips head type posts ) in the swamp ash body. I have replaced the prototype floyd rose with a 1984 vintage original floyd rose with our AXN Steel 5150 Sustain block and stainless hardware so as to achieve the EVH tone everyone wants.This guitar is in stock here in Scottsdale Arizona USA.

Holy Grail Neck Shape

This guitar has the same neck shape profile, neck shape, fretboard radius and back of the neck shape at the heel as a 1983 Kramer Baretta which was manufactued for EVH by ESP Japan for Kramer Neptune New Jersey. Of course this has a one-piece maple ESP neck with a Strat headstock.

The pickup is an ESP PAF Humbucker and the body is routed from the factory to accept one pickup under the single pickup pickguard. The original ESP CTS 500K volume pot has a date code of early 1984. This indicates a guitar manufactured in late 1983 and assembled in early 1984. The body and the neck have the very very early ESP factory stamps on the heel of the neck and in the neck pocket ( see photos ). This is the same numeric stamp seen on very early custom order ESP Guitars and the very highest end Navigator ESPs of the 83-85 era.
