Almost zero of these Charvel Model 8 guitars in the color orange have surfaced over the decades. Jackson renamed this model as the Spectrum in the 1990 Charvel line of imports with a few changes. That said, this 1989 vintage Charvel Model 8 has some details that are found in no other offering from the Charvel Jackson company. This echoes some speculation amongst collectors that it is an artist model. Some insist that it holds many of the details such as neck profile and fretboard radius patterned unofficially after Jeff Beck's Jackson Soloist. This guitar has a factory Jackson JE-1000TG active electronics system and of course the marvelous reverse Jackson headstock... Awesome-ness

The guitar is surprisingly close to MINT and the vibrant orange paint is mint almost all over the guitar. Yet there is a sun-spot on the back of the guitar where the orange color has faded which can be seen in photos. Otherwise the guitar is in 100% original condition and has near-to-no cosmetic imperfections of any kind.

There is almost no signs of play and the frets show NO fretware. For serious collectors you will be happy to know that this Jackson USA color is original to this import model, never seen in the used market and collectible. The CHROME Jackson JT-6 Tremolo System is original and the original tremolo bar and original guitar hardware are still intact.
