We are an authority on Burny Fernandes and avid collectors having sold very very many Burnys here on Ebay. Unfortunately most of the so called Randy Rhoads models we see for sale are in reality just white Fernandes/Burny les pauls with aftermarket pickguards. This listing is for an extremely mint and authentic Randy Model that has been kept in perfect collectors condition and preserved with the original paperwork by a guy that was basically a non-player.

Fernandes Burny, as many know, captured the sound and the mystique of the real thing with their offerings in this early 1980s period. As many know the Japanese luthiers also nailed these artist model guitars all the way down to the smallest minute details. We should all know the history of Burny and the stories about Fernandes executives in the early eighties being allowed by Delores Rhoads to visit the Rhoads family estate. At that visit they examined and recorded the details of Randys guitars :-) 

The VH-1 pickups are original to this guitar. This guitar is a set neck guitar with a mahogany neck and body with a maple top. It has an Indian Rosewood fretboard with tight open grain. This guitar is 100% original.
