Awesome 1984 Burny Explorer Matthias Jabs Model

This is a vintage 1984 Burny. It is an official and authentic artist model made for Matthias Jabs from the Scorpions. It has a mahogany neck and a mahogany body and the original and sought after factory Burny VH-1 pickups.

This guitar has its original factory paint which includes the painted black lines graphic for the artist Matthias Jabs. The guitar is 30 years old yet it is in immaculate and un-played condition with NO fretware and only small scratches and dings. Its a collectors item and was manufactured in very few numbers with near-to-none of these guitars ever being seen in the used market. That said, the guitar had been modified for the Kahler-Type bridge system that is installed now.

The bridge modification was obviously performed by a professional luthier and appears that it was done about 30 years ago. In addition the bridge system is very very stable, operates perfectly, and to some guitar players would be considered a desired enhancement. Either way there the bridge modification is visible in the photos. The guitar is ready to play upon delivery to you.
