This guitar is exactly like the guitar is using on the Night Ranger tour this year. Most likely manufactured the same year as Brad's touring Fernandes!

It is true that the first Authentic Brad Gillis Models that were released in 1984 did not have Brad's autograph on the Stratocaster headstock. It was later in the run made in 1984 that the Brad Gillis autograph appeared on the headstock due to the fact that Fernandes had to tool up for the special signature imprint.

This guitars headstock is labeled as a Limited Edition. We call this guitar a prototype. In interview Brad Gillis has talked about the first 100 guitars made and in all likelihood this is one of those first 100.

The neck on this BG Fernandes stratocaster has a measurement of 1.70mm at the first fret. This is .03mm wider than the lower end models and models manufactured later in the line. This guitar has the wider 1-11/16" nut size like Brad uses. A BG Fernandes truly is one of the best and hardest rocking strats ever produced.

We have just listed a couple Brad Gillis Signature Fernades guitars. The original owner of this guitar was a giant Night Ranger fan and relic-ed this guitar. He evolved the relic-ing constantly through the years to resemble Brad's touring guitar that we've all see seen in photos. He removed paint from the body and applied stickers. Recently a few more decals were added and the age-ing was helped along or relic-ed just a little bit more.

This is a vintage 30 year old guitar with signs of use. The neck is near mint and untouched with almost no sign of fretware and no imperfections in the wood. The truss rod is 100% and the neck is perfectly strait. Its an wesome playing guitar.

The original owner went to great lengths to change the pickups to the exact year and make that Brad uses in his guitar. It has a vintage 1980s Seymour Duncan Hot Rail in the neck position and Seymour Duncan JB pickup in the bridge position. Just like Brad Gillis has installed in his signature guitars unique 4 ply Fernandes factory pick guard.

The original electronics and wiring are intact as is the 1984 Fernandes booster. The very very early Fernades "Stone Logo" is present on the original Fernandes SB-3000 Boost circuit input jack plate. The guitars serial number indicates its place in the timeline of 1984 ( L011XXX ). The bridge is a prototype Floyd Rose with no fine tuners and its original with the original springs. The tremolo is black color and in perfect condition.

The necks on these BG Fernandes guitars are known as some of the nicest quality and most comfortable dark rosewood necks every seen on any strat. We can assure you that that is true. The guitar vintage and well used yet it is perfect in every way and ready to play upon arrival to you.
