The Charvel 650XL is and was the top of the line for Charvel Japan starting in 1989. This is in most cases everyone’s favorite import Charvel. The quality is considered higher than all other Japan Charvels. My personal opinion is that the USA customs today are not as good as these because of the available materials in modern times and that the luthiers are by far better that the luthiers at Jackson/Fender today.

This guitar has zero cracks, zero imperfections that hinder it’s performance in any way. There’s paint and cosmetic blemishes only such as paint checking! It’s ready to use live. If you like mint perfect guitars you can always do a refinish and it’s ready for that. I’ve modified this a a single volume single humbucker guitar and used it to gig. It’s a monster and a favorite of mine for years. Get it !! You won’t regret having this in your want keep it the rest of your life! probably end up your go-to shred guitar!

The headstock had a refurbish and its ready for repaint if you want. It’s a lifetime keeper. And that was my plan but the only do AXN Guitars now for the rest of my life!
