Brad Gillis Fernandes 1986 BG Signature guitar

1986 Fernandes Brad Gillis Signature. A Modified 1986 BG guitar factory original body and neck born together in 1986 and restored by AXN Boutique as a single humbucker rocker. The two single coils are not in wired into the chain and bypassed. This includes the original factory stuff including a 1986 battery compartment at the back of the guitar introduced by fernandes in late 1986!

As s some of you may know that I am a well-known collector of Fernandes Brad Gillis BG Guitars. Here at the AXN boutique we’ve sold near to 50 original 1980s BG Guitars. This is one that came after the endorsement contract without the signature on the headstock.

The neck on this guitar has the exact same specifications as a BG 155 from the original run of Brad Gillis Fernandes signature 1983 guitars. And has a beautiful rosewood fretboard.

The original 100 BG 155s that were made for Brad Gillis came from the factory with a Fernandes Rosewood fret board. And those original 100 guitars had very specific neck specifications. The Neck on this guitar has the exact same specifications as an original 1983 Fernandes BG 155 signature Guitar.

I’ve kept this guitar now because it’s probably one of the best playing and sounding Fernandes BG guitars. It’s also been restored by us here at the AXN boutique as a single humbucker shredder.

We’ve installed one of our signature Seymour Duncan JB pick ups that was custom wound by MJ from Seymour Duncan. Look close It’s also set up as a single pick up Guitar with a single volume.

There has been no modifications to the body and it came from the factory with the Fernandez SB 3000 booster which is still installed but not wired into the circuit. The 4 ply BG pick guard verifies it as a BG model unknown

the additional factory BG jack hole on the side of the guitar is still in place. It’s in great shape with minor digs and scratches that are shown in the pictures and this guitar Feels great in every way and may be one of the best Fernandes BG series type guitars I have ever owned. It’s a BG guitar with an exact era Brad Gillis Specification I’d say it’s worth every bit of the cravings I have for it and all the BG guitars I’ve owned!!!
