1975 Greco EG-650N Set Neck Maple Fretboard Guitar
Impossible To Find

Here is a guitar that you don't see every day. As a matter of fact we most likely will never see this guitar again. It is a unique model to represent the early-to-mid '70s Fujigen production. This guitar followed the release of the Ibanez maple neck Les Pauls first appearing in a catalog in 1973 and was manufactured during the heyday of the Fujigen Factory in Japan. The 650N model became a set neck guitar first offered in 1974. It features a back contour in common with the higher end offerings under the brand Greco and Ibanez produced in this period. It was a very short-lived model and the end of production was in the first half of 1975.

This guitar is a mahogany body and neck patterned after the very sought after late 50s Les Pauls and with the same kind of construction. Whats obvious is the maple fretboard that has the a small star ikon branded in the maple wood in front of the 22nd fret ( see photo ). This period for the brand Greco is one of the most collectible and this guitar maybe the most collectible for this era of Fujigen production. Its evident that there is nothing but choice cuts of wood in this guitar and the result is that this guitar sings like no other.

This guitar is ready to play upon arrival.
