1982 ESP Strat with ESP Magician Bridge

This guitar has been tested and played thoroughly and its an awesome player. In 1982 ESP was a burgeoning guitar company and this is one of their early offerings. The ESP Logo just says "ESP" but I'm sure this is a custom ESP Navigator model. This guitar was highly modified when we purchased it. It has a whole ton of cosmetic play wear and dings as well as dents from being played... including on the headstock by the low E string is a cigarette burn and on the back of the guitar is visible buckle rash.

We completely rebuilt the Magician Tremolo and replaced any rusty old parts with new stuff including the prototype tremolo posts or studs with newer ones. Its clearly a guitar that was converted to Floyd Rose type locking system by a capable luthier. It can be seen that the guitar originally had a fender tremolo system.

These along with very many other modifications we can confirm were done years ago. The various modifications include adding the neck pickup and adding a toggle switch as the guitar was originally a single humbucker guitar. The neck has been stripped of laquer on the back which feels great. We can see these along with all the modifications were done right by a professional and most likely in the 1980s.

We disassembled the guitar and went through it thoroughly. We rewired the neck pickup and performed a whole bunch of sensible repairs like a new input jack. We replaced the humbucker with a vintage JBJ Seymour Duncan.

The guitar has a whole bunch of awesome factory features not usually seen on an ESP. The ESP neck plate is brass and stamped ESP. The body has binding both front and back. AS well the neck is a vintage style one-piece neck with 21 frets and a 9.5" fretboard radius plus vintage medium frets.
