This is an impossible to find AUTHENTIC collectors item prototype Floyd Rose Tremolo. This is a Floyd Rose Brand locking bridge and its 30+ years old.

There are 2-3 sellers on Ebay that use different accounts to sell ungenuine versions of this tremolo system. Inferior quality, yet visually similar, copies have been in circulation for three decades and these copies do not have a Floyd Rose logo. If you're planning to spend real money be aware of who the seller is. You can trust The AlienXnation Team.

This design is The Prototype to todays modern Floyd and was manufactured in very very few numbers for a very very short time. The awesome inventor Mr. Floyd D. Rose, in the pursuit of the perfect locking tremolo, changed his process and materials on the fly over a number of months in the early 1980s with the first run of this prototype design. Many of these prototypes went directly to artists and can bee seen in photos of the guitars they used around 1982-1983.

We are selling the last few of these we have on our stock of vintage guitars. Look for more original late 1970s and Early 1980s Floyd Rose items that we are posting for sale in the next few months.
